NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Vanderbilt Commodores completed a three-game sweep of the Georgia Bulldogs with a 6-1 win Sunday.

Georgia took the lead on an RBI double by Mike Bell in the top of the second, but this would prove to be the lone run of the day for the Bulldogs.

The Commodores did not make their way onto the scoreboard until notching two runs in the bottom of the fifth.

Vanderbilt scored two more runs in the sixth and one each in the seventh and eighth to ice the game.

Bell went 2-for-3 with an RBI for Georgia.

The Bulldogs (21-22-1, 7-12-1 SEC) will begin a three-game home series with South Carolina Friday at 7 p.m.
