The storms that blew through the Bi-City area early Tuesday morning have forced high school sports teams to scramble to reschedule postseason games.

All three boys soccer games scheduled for Tuesday night had to be rescheduled.

In Class AAAA, Columbus will now play at Southeast Whitfield at 7 p.m. Saturday. In Class AAAAA, Northside's game at Glynn Academy will be made up at 5 p.m. Friday. Hardaway's home game against Ware County has not been rescheduled yet.

The weather has also forced some changes to Wednesday's schedule.

The Glenwood baseball team was set to host the first two games in its best-of-three AISA Class 3A semifinal against Monroe Academy on Wednesday. That doubleheader has been pushed back to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. The if game would now be played on Friday.

The AHSAA Class 6A Area 5 softball tournament has also been pushed back a day. Slated to start on Wednesday, it will now start at 2 p.m. Thursday at Central.

The girls state soccer matches scheduled for Wednesday are still set to be played.

In Class AAAA, Columbus is hosting Northwest Whitefield at 4:30 p.m. at Columbus State's Walden Soccer Complex. In Class AAAAA, Northside is playing Ware County immediately following the Columbus game at Walden. Also, Harris County is hosting Windsor Forest at 5 p.m.
