Overstreet leads Alabama past Jacksonville State

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Kyle Overstreet hit a two-run homer to lead Alabama to a 6-1 victory over Jacksonville State on Tuesday night.

Georgie Salem went 3-for-3 with an RBI, while Mikey White went 3-for-4 with a triple and an RBI.

Nick Eicholtz picked up the win. He went four innings and allowed just two hits.

The Tide will open an SEC series at LSU at 8 p.m. Friday night. Bama was swept last weekend by Florida.
