(Update) Time for Columbus State-USC Aiken baseball game moved up to noon

9:40 a.m. -- Tournament officials have changed the game time for the Columbus State-USC Aiken game once again. This time it has been moved up an hour to noon.

GREENWOOD, S.C. — With rain falling in the Greenwood, S.C., area, the start time for the Columbus State-USC Aiken baseball game has been pushed back two hours to 1 p.m. Thursday.

The game is the opener for the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional. The game will be broadcast on WHAL-AM 1460.

Thursday's other games are scheduled to be Georgia College vs. Mount Olive at 5 p.m. and Lander vs. Catawba at 9 p.m. Lander is the No. 1 seed and host.

Officials are expected to give another update at 10:30 a.m.
