A 17-year-old Carver High School student is accused of molesting a 15-year-old girl in a school hallway Wednesday morning, according to court testimony.

ShaQuann Legall faced one count of child molestation during a Thursday morning Recorder's Court hearing.

Police say the victim repeatedly asked Legall to leave her alone after he approached her in the hallway, pulled up her dress and began molesting her. A school employee witnessed the incident and reported Legall around 11:30 a.m., according to court testimony.

Police say Legall later told officials he was only touching the victim's thigh, a claim the victim denied.

Judge Michael Joyner set Legall's bond at $25,000. Legall has also been ordered not to contact the victim.
