College baseball roundup: Big innings lead LSU to win over Auburn

AUBURN, Ala. -- LSU scored three runs in the first and third innings to take command Thursday night and coast to a 10-0 win over Auburn.

LSU's Tyler Moore went 2-for-3 and drove in 3 runs in the win.

Dillon Ortman (9-4) gave up six runs on seven hits in two innings and took the loss.

Auburn (28-26, 11-17 SEC) hosts LSU (38-14-1, 14-11-1) tonight at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m.

KENTUCKY 13, GEORGIA 0

ATHENS, Ga. -- Kentucky erupted for five runs in the seventh inning Thursday night to break open the game and defeat Georgia 13-0.

A.J. Reed allowed just three hits in eight innings and picked up the win.

Ryan Lawlor allowed six runs on 11 hits and struck out two. He took the loss.

Ka'ai Tom hit a 2-run homer in the seventh inning for Kentucky.

Georgia (25-27-1, 10-16-1) hosts Kentucky (31-21, 13-15) tonight at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 1 p.m.

SOUTH FLORIDA 8, GEORGIA TECH 0

ATLANTA -- Zac Gilcrease drove in three runs as South Florida scored three runs in the six inning and four runs in the seventh Thursday night in a 8-0 win over Georgia Tech.

Georgia Tech (30-24, 14-16 ACC) hosts South Florida (27-26) tonight at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 1 p.m.
