Third Avenue man charged with distributing meth

A 29-year-old Third Avenue man was charged with intent to distribute meth Thursday after he was stopped on Fourth Avenue, according to a Columbus police report.

Officers arrested Clint Walker around 1:30 p.m., after observing suspicious activity in an occupied vehicle. Police did not specify the suspicious behavior.

An undisclosed amount was seized during a search.

Walker was taken to the Muscogee County Jail.
