Ex-Glenwood star Ollivia McLemore leads Armstrong Atlantic to national tournament

DAHLONEGA, Ga. -- Former Glenwood standout Ollivia McLemore pitched the Armstrong Atlantic softball team into the NCAA Division II national championships.

McLemore (24-6), who had had beaten North Georgia in Game 1 of the super regional and lost Game 2, went the distance in Game 3. She gave up 10 runs (only three earned) and 14 hits.

This will be the Lady Pirates second straight trip to the national tournament.

This year's tournament begins on May 22 in Salem, Virginia.
