A LaGrange, Ga., woman told police she was stabbed in the chest Saturday while at the Just Right Sandwich Shop on Johnson Street.
According to the LaGrange police report, officers met with the woman at the West Georgia Medical Center on Vernon Road.
She told officers that Jasmine Cameron of LaGrange attacked her with a knife.
Cameron was later located, arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
The case is under further investigation.
Man in fair condition after being attacked with bat
A 40-year-old man reported to Columbus police that he was struck with a small baseball bat Saturday.
According to the police, the incident happened at 2:50 p.m. in a yard on North Lumpkin Road.
The man was injured and, according the report, he was in fair condition.
Police are looking for a man known as "Goldie." A black man in his 50s was wearing a blue baseball cap, red T-shirt and blue jeans.
He was driving a dark blue Chevrolet.
Man reports theft of rims valued at $6,000
A Columbus man reported to police that tire rims worth $6,000 were taken from his car.
According to the report, the theft happened between 5:30 a.m. and 11 p.m. Friday. The incident took place at a home on Grenada Drive.
They were taken off of a Ford Crown Victoria.
The rims are chrome in color with red script in the spokes.
Electronics taken fromPerry Avenue home
A Nook tablet and a Kindle tablet were among items reported stolen from a home on Perry Avenue in Columbus.
According to a police report, a Galaxy 4 phone also was taken. The report does not list a time for the burglary.
