Report: Suspect wields baseball bat on North Lumpkin Road

A 48-year-old reported he was beaten with a baseball bat near North Lumpkin Road Friday night, according to a Columbus police report.

The victim told police he was attacked by the suspect near the intersection of North Lumpkin Road and 30th Avenue around 8 p.m. He was treated for visible injury to his head and ribs at St. Francis Hospital.
