Registration for the 35th annual Purple and Gold Golf Tournament is underway.

The tournament is scheduled for June 28-29 at Fort Benning Golf Course, which is a soft spike facility. The entry fee is $125, which includes a riding cart and refreshments as well as a Friday night reception on June 27.

There will be prizes for the top four finishers in each flight. In addition there will be prizes for closest to the hole on all par 3s each day and longest drive each day. The first hole-in-one on a designated hole will win a car.

The format is 36 holes medal play. Last year's winner was Levi Rentz.

The field will be limited to 160 players. There will be shotgun starts at 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. each day. Flights will be determined after the first round.
