Lone gunman fires 4 shots into Enoch Dr. apartment

A 48-year-old Columbus man escaped serious injuries Friday afternoon after shots were fired into back door of his Enoch Drive apartment, police said.

Police said the gunfire was reported at 6:40 p.m. in the 1000 block of Enoch Drive. The victim wasn’t hit by any of the bullets.

A police investigation revealed that four shots were into the residence causing an estimated $1,000 in damage.

No description of a suspect was available but police are looking for a 1990s Lincoln Towncar.

If the gunman is located, the person will face an aggravated assault charge.
