Colony Bank promotes Luttrell to senior vice president

Colony Bank in Columbus has promoted George H. Luttrell Jr. to senior vice president.

Luttrell, with 35 years in the banking industry, is the manager of the Columbus branch. His duties include commercial lending, consumer lending, business development, personnel and operations.

He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Mercer University. He also is a graduate of the Georgia Banking School.

Colony Bank was established more than a century ago in Fitzgerald, Ga. The bank has 28 branches centered primarily in middle and south Georgia.

The Columbus branch, 1581 Bradley Park Drive, will celebrate eight years in the local market on May 30.
