Spain, Sasser lead Auburn Montgomery past Lindsey Wilson

Katie Spain hit a three-run homer to lead Auburn Montgomery to a 3-0 win over Lindsey Wilson on Saturday in the NAIA softball world series at South Commons.

Former Northside High standout Jade Sasser went 1-for-3 for AUM.

AUM will take on William Carey at 7 p.m. Monday. There are no games scheduled for Sunday.

In other games Saturday, St. Gregory's eliminated Simpson 3-2 and College of Idaho eliminated Olivet Nazarene 3-0. Oklahoma City and LSU Alexandria played in a late game Saturday.
