Two men report armed robbery on Armour Road

Columbus police are investigating the report of an armed robbery of two Hispanic men on Armour Road near Willy's Wings.

According to the police report, the crime occurred in a parking lot around 2:30 a.m. Saturday.

A 23-year-old man told officers that a black man in his 20s, wearing a black shirt, black jeans and a black hat, fired a gun and pointed it at him. The victim was not injured.

It was reported that the thief got away with $110.

An 18-year-old man at the scene was robbed at gunpoint of his wallet, $15 in cash and a $485 payroll check. He was not injured.

Man charged with attempting to hijack car

Columbus police have arrested 20-year-old Darius Harbin and charged him with criminal attempt motor vehicle hijacking and aggravated assault.

The incident occurred in a parking lot at 2:50 a.m. Saturday on Fourth Street.

Police responded to a call of someone holding another person at gunpoint.

Nobody was injured.

Woman reports theft of tools, electronics from car

A woman told Columbus police that someone broke into her car and stole several items including a television, VCR, car stereo and tool sets.

According to the police report, the crime occurred on Adair Avenue between May 17 and May 23.

The left vent window of the car was busted out.

The owner was out of town when the theft occurred.
