Robbery victim shot at near Floyd Road shopping complex

A 63-year-old man said a robbery suspect shot at him after demanding $500 in the parking lot of shopping center near Floyd Road Sunday, according to a Columbus police report.

The victim told police the suspected robber approached him at the complex, located at the intersection of Booth Street and Floyd Road, around midnight. No injuries were reported during the incident.

No suspect description was available. Anyone with more information should contact Investigative Services at (706) 653-3400.
