A 32-year-old man accused of forcing a 7-year-old boy to perform sexual acts at an apartment playground Saturday claimed the victim unzipped his pants when confronted by police, according to court testimony.

Roshun Gibson pleaded not guilty to aggravated child molestation, child molestation and enticing a child charges during a Thursday morning Recorder’s Court hearing.

Police say Gibson was looking after four children at an apartment complex playground off Fort Benning Road when he demanded the victim perform oral sex. The victim’s 6-year-old sister saw the incident, according to the report.

After Gibson was taken into custody, he told officers the 7-year-old victim unzipped his pants and spat on him.

Gibson is accused of performing similar acts with other victims, witnesses told police. Police say additional charges may be pending.

Officers were contacted about the incident after the victim told guardians about the incident, according to court testimony.

Judge Michael Joyner set no bond for Gibson’s three charges. His bonds will be set by the Muscogee County Superior Court.
