Georgia-Clemson game time announced

Georgia's Todd Gurley found himself in hostile territory at Clemson but flew through some big holes rushing for 154 yards on 12 carries.

It's finally official: Georgia's season opener against Clemson on Aug. 30 is set for 5:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN.

The SEC announced the news on Friday, in conjunction with other early-season game time announcements. It was previously announced that the Georgia-South Carolina game on Sept. 13 would be at 3:30 p.m. on CBS, and the following week's Georgia-Troy game at noon on the SEC Network.

This is the second year of a home-and-home between Georgia and Clemson. Last year Clemson won 38-35 in Tiger Stadium.
