Columbus man stabbed, bitten by roommate

A Columbus man was treated at Midtown Medical Center late Friday after he was stabbed and bitten by his roommate during a domestic dispute, police said.

The victim, 30, was in stable condition after the 7:55 p.m. attack in an apartment at 475 Old Buena Vista Road.

Police have not identified a suspect in the assault which occurred inside the living room of the the apartment.

Emergency medical personnel were called to the apartment to check on a stabbing when the victim said he was cut with a kitchen knife on his left bicep and bitten on his back shoulder. Police said the victim had a one-inch cut on the arm and a puncture wound to his rear left shoulder. The would appeared to have been inflicted by a bite.

Police said the assault remains under investigation.
