Mother charged with reckless conduct for leaving children home alone

A 22-year-old mother faced three counts of reckless conduct during a Tuesday Recorder's Court hearing after she was accused of leaving her three children home alone around midnight Monday.

Tia Randall pleaded not guilty and waived her hearing Tuesday. Judge Michael Cielinski set a $7,500 bond on her charges. Her case will be forwarded to the Muscogee County State Court.

According to police reports, officers arrived at a Ticknor Drive apartment after receiving reports that a 6-year-old girl, 4-year-old boy and 2-year-old girl had been left home alone around 12:30 a.m. He found the children inside the apartment.

No injuries were reported from the incident. No further information was immediately available.
