Elementary students participate in 'Brain Food' poster contest

June 7, 2014

Four elementary students contributed their art talents in exchange for prize money for their school. Students in kindergarten through sixth grade were invited to create a poster focusing on the health benefits of pecans, and the brain power the nuts provide for the Georgia Pecan Commission's "Brain Food" contest. Students with the winning posters are, from left, Ethan Moss, Jaden Banks, and Maddie Hickman, all from North Columbus Elementary. Not pictured: Aiden Wright, River Road Elementary.
