The Circle K on Wynnton Road and two employees were robbed early Saturday by an armed man, Columbus police said.

No one was injured in the 2 a.m. holdup at 2102 Wynnton Road, said police Lt. Greg Touchberry.

Two masked men entered the business and the tall robber was armed with a gun. The gunman went around the counter and took money from the register. The robber also took the clerk’s purse and a cell phone from an employee who stepped from a cooler during the robbery.

After leaving the convenience store, police Lt. Greg Touchberry said the robbers fled toward Brown Avenue where they entered a dark, two door vehicle.

Both robbers were described as black. One was about 6 feet tall with a medium build. He was wearing a camouflage hooded sweatshirt, a blue and gray plaid pajama bottom and a black ski mask.

The second robber was 5 feet, 5 inches tall and slim. He was wearing a black shirt, black pants and had a shirt covering his face.
