Shotgun used in reported Sunday armed robbery on Brown Ave.

A 24-year-old Columbus man said a shotgun was pointed at him during an armed robbery early Sunday morning.

According to the police report, the victim was getting into his car in the parking lot at the Mystic Mart on Brown Avenue around 12:15 a.m. when two black men dressed in black and wearing masks walked up to him and demanded money.

The thieves made off with a lunch box cooler valued at $20.

A witness told police that he heard someone yelling "give me your money" before he observed two black men running north on Brown Avenue.

Anyone with information should contact Columbus police.
