Allen Park, MI (SportsNetwork.com) - The Detroit Lions signed first-round draft pick Eric Ebron to a four-year deal Friday.

Ebron, a 6-foot-4 tight end from North Carolina, was taken with the 10th pick in last month's draft.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but several outlets reported it was for around $12.25 million with a signing bonus of $7.23 million.

Ebron had 112 catches for 1,805 yards and eight touchdowns in three seasons for the Tar Heels, including 62 receptions for 973 yards and three scores in 2013.
