Shad Tuten moves back to top of the Southeastern Amateur leaderboard

Shad Tuten moved back to the top of the leaderboard through the third round of the Southeastern Amateur on Friday at the Country Club of Columbus.

Tuten, who is from Savannah, Ga., shot a 66 and stands at 11-under 202. He is one shot ahead of John Jonas of Jacksonville, Fla., and Cody Proveaux of Lexington, S.C. Jonas shot a 67 on Friday, while Proveaux had a 66.

Tuten shot a 65 in Wednesday's first round but fell one shot out of the lead after a 71 on Thursday.

Grant Hirschman of Colliersville, Tenn., the second-round leader, shot a 69 and is fourth at 9 under.

Defending champion Seth Reeves, who is from Decatur, Ga., continues to climb up the leaderboard. His second straight 68 moved him into a tie for sixth at 5 under.

The cut came at 9-over.
