Teen choked, robbed at gunpoint on Flat Rock Road

A Columbus teen was choked and robbed in a yard at the Meadows Apartments Friday evening, police said.

The boy, 17, sustained scrapes on both hands, left elbow and right knee in the 6 p.m. robbery at 6210 Flat Rock Road, police said.

The robber was armed with a revolver when he confronted the teen and took $140 in cash. No description of a suspect was given to police.

Police said the robbery remains under investigation.
