Columbus police investigate reported beating of two men

Columbus police are investigating the report of two men being beaten late Friday night on 13th Avenue.

According to the police report, a 48-year-old man was punched about the head and face which caused bruising. A 22-year-old man was also beaten about the head and face and suffered both a laceration over his right eye and a bruise behind his left ear.

The incident happened around 11:10 p.m. inside a residence.

Listed as suspects are three white males. Each had tattoos.

It was listed as a stranger to stranger incident.

No motive was given for the assault.

Nothing was reported stolen.
