Report: 'Meat Man' robs victim of $80 near Third Avenue

A 53-year-old man was treated for injuries at Midtown Medical Center after he was robbed of $80 and a cell phone by a suspect called "Meat Man," according to a Columbus police report.

The victim told police Meat Man approached him near the intersection of Third Avenue and 15th Street around 11:20 p.m. The suspect hit the victim in the head with an unknown object and tried to stab him, according to the report.
