35th annual Purple and Gold Golf Tournament set June 28-29 at Fort Benning

The Lambda Iota Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. will hold its 35th Annual Purple and Gold Golf Tournament June 28-29 on the Follow Me Golf Course at Fort Benning.

The medal play tournament will have double shotgun starts at 8 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. each day with flighting after the day's play.

Cost per participant is $125 and includes cart, refreshments and a Friday night reception.

The event is held to honor the scholarship goals of the local and nation organization. This year graduating seniors will share $14,000. More than 200 recipients have received $250,000 over the past years.

Slots for both morning and afternoon times are still available.
