Hunt For Missing Activists Continues

Former CIA Director Allen Dulles said today he had recommended to President Johnson stepped-up FBI activity to "control and prosecute terroristic activities" in Mississippi.

In Washington, the NAACP called upon federal authorities to take over the Mississippi state government.

U.S. Attacks

Usually reliable sources said U.S. jet fighters staged a big attack today on Communist military targets in Laos, hitting "everything east of Muong Suoi."

Federal Pay

Sen. Olin D. Johnston, D-S.C., planned to file for floor action today a $550 million federal pay raise bill that would include $7,500 yearly increases for members of Congress.
