Recap: Boston vs. Chicago WSox

Boston, MA (SportsNetwork.com) - Conor Gillaspie hit a two-run homer among his three hits and scored twice, as Chicago claimed an 8-3 victory over Boston in the second edition of a four-game series from Fenway Park.

Jose Abreu finished 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and an RBI for the White Sox, winners of three straight and five of their last six.

Alejandro De Aza added a pair of hits and drove in two to back 5 2/3 innings from John Danks (8-6), who yielded eight hits and three runs despite four walks.

Mike Napoli collected three hits, scored once and drove in a run for the Red Sox, who have lost the first two in the set and seven of eight overall. Dustin Pedroia contributed two hits, an RBI and run scored in the setback.

Brandon Workman (1-3) gave up eight hits and five runs -- three earned -- in his losing seven-inning stint.
