AUBURN, Ala. — Less than two months ago, Reese Dismukes was included on the spring watch list for the Rimington Trophy, which is given annually to the top center in college football. So it came as no surprise that when the trophy's preseason watch list was unveiled Tuesday, Dismukes' name was included once more.

Hailing from Spanish Fort, Ala,. Dismukes is back for his fourth season as Auburn's starting center this fall. In the past three years, he's made 37 starts, including all 14 games last season. Grading out above 90 percent for the entire 2013 campaign, Dismukes was an All-SEC first-team selection last year.

The rising senior was one of 66 players named to the watch list, and one of two finalists from last year, joining Oregon's Hroniss Grasu. Florida State's Bryan Stork brought home the trophy last season.

The award winner is determined by taking the consensus All-American from three different teams: the Walter Camp Foundation, the Sporting News and the Football Writers Association of America.

The recipient will be honored at the Rimington Trophy Presentation at the Rococo Theatre in Lincoln, Neb., on Jan. 17, 2015.
