Auburn ranks 15th nationally in secondary market median ticket prices

AUBURN, Ala. — Auburn is set to be a popular draw this fall.

According to Vivid Seats, an online ticket broker, the median price for a ticket to an Auburn home game this fall stands at $132, making it the 15th-most expensive in the nation. The Tigers are also a popular attraction away from Jordan-Hare Stadium, increasing ticket prices by an average of 76 percent.

Auburn is also part of two of the most anticipated matchups of the year. The average price for a ticket to this season's Iron Bowl is $547, the third-most expensive contest of 2014. The Tigers' tussle with the Georgia Bulldogs is 10th on the list, with an average price of $333 per ticket.

Ohio State stands at the top, with a median ticket price of $211. Alabama and Georgia are tied for third overall and first in the SEC at $200 per ticket.
