The circus otherwise known as SEC media days is next week, and Georgia has selected its participants.

In addition to head coach Mark Richt, the players who will attend are tailback Todd Gurley, receiver Chris Conley and linebacker Ramik Wilson.

Conley is a no-brainer. He won last year's media "GATA" award (gracious attitude toward answering) and is one of the best ambassadors for the program that Georgia has had in recent years.

Wilson, while not as loquacious, was a consensus first-team all-SEC pick last season, and has grown more comfortable with his media duties.

Gurley is a somewhat interesting selection, given his occasional reluctance to speak to the media. Occasional might be putting it lightly. But the junior tailback will begin the season as a Heisman Trophy contender, so there is plenty of media demand for his time.
