Peachtree makes list of Georgia's worst malls

Peachtree Mall has made it onto a new list of "The 10 Worst Malls in Georgia," though the reasons for its worseness are much less clear.

"This is a list of malls you MUST avoid at all cost," the GA Followers list begins. "If you’re visiting Georgia and someone suggest you go to one of these malls listed…never trust that person again."

Topping the list is Statesboro Mall, in Statesboro, "simply because we can’t even find a picture on Google of this mall."

Columbus' Peachtree Mall comes in at No. 7, after West End Mall and Greenbriar Mall in Atlanta and Gwinnett Place Mall in Duluth.

Peachtree Mall has recently seen the debut of a Sephora; and Villa Fresh Italian Kitchen and Charley’s Philly Steaks are soon arriving.

Here's why the mall is so bad: “It’s your typical mall. It’s where we all hang out. It’s been there all our lives. It’s old, got the same old same stores and it’s nothing impressive. But it’s a teen hangout since it’s the only mall around," according to "Gregory M.," who is not even the person who compiled the list in the first place.
