Zimmermann exits Friday's game

Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - Washington Nationals pitcher Jordan Zimmermann left Friday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies in the bottom of the fourth inning with a right bicep cramp.

The NL All-Star allowed four runs on six hits and struck out five with no walks in 3 1/3 innings.

Craig Stammen replaced Zimmermann, inheriting a 2-2 count on Cameron Rupp.

Zimmermann (6-5) took the loss as the Nationals fell, 6-2.
