Pick of the day

I've always pulled for the bulls. No, not Chicago -- Pamplona. This year they gored a guy who profits from their abuse by writing books. But nothing beats when multiple bulls jump into the stands.

Find another 'scandal,' guys

Nine military officials testifying that there was no "Stand Down Order" for Benghazi and that the right decision was made. OK, Republicans, are you going to discredit the military, too? Just stop.

A better PR staff

Let's say five politicians get the same award, but only one sends out a Press Release to notify the media. Whose picture do you suppose will get in the paper? Duh!

Could've fooled most of us

Want to hear a real lie? Rush Limbaugh said he was not a political person.

Safety hazard

Will somebody please get those leaning pine trees on Steam Mill Road cut down before school starts?

Good upbringing helped

I had birth control offered to me for free back in the 1960s. It was called mom and dad.

See Reagan, Ronald

President Obama is setting a good example for our youth by drinking a beer and playing pool on the evening news.

Declaration says it, too

Jesus, the Bible and the U.S. Constitution confirm that all are created equal. Why do some Republicans dispute that?

An old double standard

If Nick Marshall had been caught with a half-gallon of the drug alcohol, it would be a little different. Stop being hypocritical.

It's an anonymous forum, so OK …

"Politics may not be the oldest profession, but the results are still the same." Author unknown.
