Sportstainment power couple AJ McCarron and Katherine Webb were married last weekend in Orange Beach, Ala., and photos and details have started to emerge from the day.

The first public photo from the McCarron/Webb union, released Tuesday, shows the Bengals quarterback with flower girl Starla Chapman.

The 5-year-old Chapman was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia in 2011, and her family met McCarron soon after. Their connection was the subject of a ESPN segment entitled "The Power of Healing." You can watch it here. (Start at about 3:10.)

For the record, the couple was officially married at about 5 p.m. Saturday at Orange Beach United Methodist Church, according to AL.com. A reception at the Wharf Event Center followed that, with a "rustic-southern" spread and guests such as Miss Georgia USA 2012 Jazz Wilkins in attendance.

The Hotwire Band, from Mobile, Ala., provided the reception's entertainment.

McCarron and Webb had previously announced plans to document their nuptials for a reality series, though Webb later told TMZ that the project was dead.

Webb, a Columbus area native and Auburn grad, first confirmed her relationship with McCarron to the Ledger-Enquirer in 2012.
