Georgia Tech beats Clemson

ATLANTA --
David Duncan pitched eight strong innings to lead Georgia Tech to a 5-1 win over Clemson on Friday night.Duncan (7-2) allowed one run, six hits, had five strikeouts and surrendered no walks for the Yellow Jackets (35-14, 13-12 Atlantic Coast Conference).
Georiga Tech never trailed, taking a 3-0 lead in the second inning. Jason Haniger had an RBI groundout, and Charlie Blackmon and Jeff Rowland each had run-scoring singles.
Brad Feltes and Thomas Nichols both drove in a run on a single for the Yellow Jackets.
D.J. Mitchell (5-4) gave up four runs, eight hits and had nine strikeouts for the Tigers (25-24-1, 10-17-1).
