When The Associated Press releases its preseason football rankings in a few weeks, Alabama, Auburn and Georgia are expected to be in the Top 10, and Georgia Tech should be in the Top 15.
Meanwhile, ESPN has just released its updated Future Power Ratings of programs, which are high on our three area SEC schools and somewhat optimistic about Tech.

AUBURN, Ala. From the time Montravius Adams reported for Auburn's fall camp in 2013, Rodney Garner hasn't changed his tune. The defensive line coach compliments Adams' talent whenever he can. But that comes with an equal dose of constructive criticism.

AUBURN, Ala. At the end of Auburn's spring practice last year, offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee couldn't have been more pleased with those playing up front. The way Lashlee saw it, he had a good problem on his hands: he had six players he was confident slotting in to fill the five spots.

AUBURN, Ala. Looking back on his first year at Auburn, Raashed Kennion managed to take few, if any positives from it. And maybe that's not surprising, considering he appeared in only four games and finished with a grand total of one tackle and one quarterback hurry.
