Meet Chinook the new sea lion at Point Defiance Zoo Aquarium

Chinook, the new 800 pound California sea lion, is on display at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium. The distinctive brand on his back was made by National Marine Fisheries officials both as a way to study marine mammals long term and to identify predatory sea lions who were depleting stocks of endangered salmon.
