Columbus Regional to pay $35 million whistleblower settlement

Columbus Regional Health has agreed to pay $35 million to the state and federal governments to settle three-year-old whistleblower claims that it incorrectly billed governmental insurers. Dr. Andrew Pippas, medical director of the John B. Amos Cancer Center, has agreed to pay $425,000 to settle billing claims against him.
