Mother admits to throwing hot grits at cheating boyfriend

Monique Altouise Bennett, 33, of Columbus, Georgia, was accused of throwing hot grits at her boyfriend, who was allegedly holding their 10-month old child at the time, according to police. Officials said the incident, which happened at a Cusseta Road apartment on September 25, 2016, didn’t lead to any injuries.

At Home starts hiring for Peachtree Mall superstore

Retailer At Home plans to open this winter at Peachtree Mall at 3131 Manchester Expressway. The Texas company, which last week put the Columbus store director job on its career page, is locating inside the former Parisian store space at the mall.
