Enoch Morris, the executive director of the RiverCenter for the Performing Arts, announced two comedy shows for August today.
Comedian Ron "Tater Salad" White, the cigar-smoking, Scotch whisky-drinking Texan who became a member of the Blue Collar Tour, returns to Columbus on Aug. 20.
Tickets are $42.75.
Mike Epps will perform on Aug. 29. Epps, who started out in stand-up comedy, has made the transition to movies. He was in Columbus in 2002 when filming was done in the Heard Theatre for "The Fighting Temptations." Since then, he's gone to make movies like "Resident Evil: Apocalypse," "Resident Evil: Extinction," "Who's Coming to Dinner" and "The Honeymooners," while continuing his stand-up career.
Tickets are $25.50-$44.50.
Both shows go on sale at 10 a.m. June 19.
