"Goobers!," the original play by Troy Heard, artistic director of the Chattahoochee Shakespeare Co., will be a feature at Pasaquan on July 4.
Pasaquan, the visionary art site near Buena Vista, celebrates the July 4 birthday of its creator, Eddie Owens Martin.
Heard describes "Goobers!" as “Sesame Street meets Hee Haw by way of The Dukes of Hazzard.” The children's play features a song about Martin, who is also known as St. EOM.
Pasaquan will be open for tours from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Never miss a local story.
Tickets are $5, which includes "Goobers!" at 11 a.m.
There are no food concessions, so visitors may bring their own picnic lunches, beverages, blankets and lawn chairs.
