Anyone looking for a tough love trainer on "The Biggest Loser" will soon have to settle for gentle Bob. Jillian Michaels has announced that the show's upcoming season will be her last.
She broke the news via Twitter, with an initial post that said, "season 11 of Biggest Loser will be my last :) have to finish out my contract."
She later elaborated on her future plans, writing, "I want to take a year off TV and focus on becoming a mommy and doing more charity work."
Michaels made headlines this spring when she told Women's Health magazine that she wants to adopt children. While discussing natural childbirth, she said, "I can't handle doing that to my body."
Never miss a local story.
Michaels and Bob Harper currently serve as personal trainers on the show.
"The Biggest Loser" will wrap up its 10th season on Tuesday. Four contestants remain. Patrick and Frado automatically advanced to the final three. Either Ada or Elizabeth will fill the last spot in the final three, based on viewers' votes.
The 11th season of "The Biggest Loser" premieres in January. It will be a couples edition.
