"Teen Mom 2" Episode 7 aired Feb. 22 on MTV. Here's a recap of the show.
Leah and Corey have the major story line of the night. Corey proposes to Leah during a fishing trip. He attaches the ring to the fishing line. Aww. I love Leah's mom's reaction to the news: "OK." One of Leah's twins continues to struggle with health problems. This time, it's her eyes. She visits an eye doctor, who says it's potentially a brain problem. She must now wear glasses. Leah cries while describing the situation to her mom over the phone.
Never miss a local story.
Kailyn is still intent on finding her own place. I'm pretty pessimistic, since Kailyn wants something that costs $400 a month. She says she makes $500 a month. Naturally, Jo isn't too happy about Kailyn's new sense of independence. When she finds a second job and announces via text that she's moving out, Jo sends an angry text message saying he wishes they never met. Ouch. Kailyn confronts Jo about the message and he vows he was only trying to help. Yeah, right.
Chelsea's best friend Megan moved out because of Chelsea's boyfriend, Adam. Megan still wants to be friends with Chelsea, as long as Adam isn't around. That might be hard, namely because Adam still doesn't have a job. Since she's behind on her schoolwork, Chelsea decides to get her GED so she can start beauty school ASAP. Her dad isn't too keen on the plan. He really wanted her to get a high school diploma. He also still really wants Adam out of the equation.
Jenelle and her boyfriend Keifer are kind of nomads, but they vow to get on the right path. Jenelle dismisses her mom's concerns about Keifer. With her financial aid package approved, Jenelle starts college and finds a job. Unfortunately, Keifer isn't as successful. He can't find a job and doesn't know what it's like to attend college. Uh-oh, I smell trouble.
