Courtney George, Interim Director of the Carson McCullers Center and a lecturer in the Department of English at CSU will discuss how famed American author Carson McCullers’ roots played a vital role in her writing; George will also explore how McCullers early years living in Uptown and Midtown shaped her as an internationally-recognized and influential author.
