The Ledger-Enquirer presents the ABC Seamless Home and Garden Show 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, March 2 and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, March 3 at the Columbus Convention and Trade Center. Visit with local and regional vendors featuring products for the home, lawn and garden. The first 500 adults receive a free gift bag. Tickets are $2 and available at the door. Noon: The Keys to Growing a Luxurious Moss Garden with Betsy Watson: Native mosses of Georgia can add beauty to areas where you struggle to grow grass.
1 p.m. Growing Good Roses with Shirley Williams Learn how to grow the ‘Queen of Flowers’ and what varieties to grow in the Columbus area for beauty and fragrance.
2 p.m. Landscape Design Tips with Samantha Reese Grey: Lee how good landscaping improves the value of your home.
3 p.m. The Beauty of Ornamental Grasses with Ellen Averill: Discover which blooms will best suit your landscape.
4 p.m. Paradise Found Growing Tropicals in Your Own Backyard with Norman Winter: The Executive Director of the Columbus Botanical Garden and author of “Captivating Combinations Color and Style in the Garden,” will show you how to make your backyard look like Jamaica.
Sunday March 3:
Noon: Growing Great Daylilies with Larry Miller: An intense lesson on which varieties you want to grow, and how to use them effectively.
1 p.m.: Designing Mixed Containers-Missy Upchurch The owner of Chattahoochee Gardens shows off a recipe Thriller Spiller and Filler that works with the latest flowers and foliage.
2 p.m. Captivating Combinations with Norman Winter
3 p.m. Thyme in the Garden with the Georgia Garden Girl, Caroline Castle Author of www.georgiagardengirl.com will show guests how to grow the tastiest herbs for use in the kitchen.
