July 6: Explore medical mysteries at Port Columbus

The Civil War Naval Museum at Port Columbus has a special Cool History: Medical Mysteries program set for 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, July 7. Tours, demonstrations and living theater performances are scheduled. Libba Beaucham plays a nurse treating Yellow Fever victims and Jonathan Perkins portrays a sailor on the USS Montauk (site of the autopsy of John Wilkes Booth). A RiverWalk Bike Tour will be at 11 a.m. and a guided tour of the museum is set for 2 p.m. 706-327-9798. portcolumbus.org/
